Corrections policy

ToolCurrent will get things wrong. When we do, this is how we fix it.

Submitting a correction

Email admin@toolcurrent.tech with the article URL, the specific claim you believe is incorrect, and either a link to a primary source that shows the correct information or a description of what you observed that differs from the article. Requests are reviewed as promptly as practical.

Vendor teams: please use the same email. We treat corrections from vendors seriously and will always link to the primary vendor source when we can verify a claim there. We will not remove factually accurate negative findings on request.

Review process

We investigate reported inaccuracies using relevant primary sources and the information supplied. When we confirm a material inaccuracy, we correct the affected content.

Material corrections, such as a score change, comparison-winner change, or factual correction affecting a recommendation, may be noted on the affected page.

If the available evidence does not establish an error, we may ask for more information or explain why the original content remains unchanged.

Correction history

Notes on affected pages may describe substantive corrections. There is no separate public correction-history page at present.
